Mirada was founded in 2010 by Aline Portugal, Julia De Simone and Marcelo Grabowsky, to create an environment for their authorial and collective works. The continuous research of cinematic language and style is a main desire in Mirada works, facing the challenge of innovation and the endless potentials of cinema itself. Mirada produced several films screened and awarded at film festivals like Tiger Rotterdam, IDFA, New York Film Festival, Toulouse, FICUNAM, Frameline, Uruguay, Palm Springs, Media City, BAFICI, Cartagena, Mostra de São Paulo, Festival do Rio, among others. Mirada has participated in important international co-production meetings as Biennale College Cinema 2022 (Bienalle, Italy), Venice Gap-Financing Market (Bienalle, Italy), BAL (BAFICI, Argentina), CineMundi (CineBH, Brazil); besides screenplays ́ laboratories as JIFF Lab (Uruguay), BRLab (Brazil), Arché (DocLisboa, Portugal), Walden (Spain). The films produced by Mirada were also released in movie theaters, DVD, television and VOD.
